PAST EVENT: INTRODUCTION TO SUSTAINABILITY & ESG 101 WORKSHOP
INTRODUCTION:
The course was designed to introduce the foundations upon which Sustainability and modern-day ESG was built, how market forces react to ESG, and ways to create and maintain value using ESG investment strategies. You will also learn about the five pathways of materiality, and how those interplay with or against ESG performance.

What do we need to do according to the science to tackle climate change.

How stakeholders fit into the problem – including the emissions they have influence over and what they can do to reduce them.

The carbon footprint of the various industries within local municipalities and the keyways that can reduce their emissions.
